The Beach on an (Artificial) Beach

What is it?
Danny Boyle’s adaptation of Gen X classic The Beach, only this time you get to watch it on an actual beach (well, sort of). Part of Thames-side cocktail bar Neverland’s “Beach Club Cinema” screenings.

Fear and Loathing in a Camden Absinthe Bunker

What is it?
Terry Gilliam’s hallucinogenic road trip flick, Fear and Loathing, screened in a “Camden Absinthe Bunker” as part of several screenings said to be “heightened with the consumption of absinthe.”

What is it?
The latest masterpiece from Son of Saul director László Nemes, Sunset, shown on a wonderful 35mm print. Afterwards the director himself will stick around for an extensive Q&A session.

What is it?
In Safe Hands, the latest from filmmaker Jeanne Herry, chronicles a baby’s journey through Child Welfare Services and into adulthood. The screening is followed by a Q&A with the director herself, alongside actress Elodie Bouchez.

Pretty Woman on a Roof in Peckham

What is it?
The Julia Roberts/Richard Gere classic Pretty Woman, screened atop Peckham’s Bussey Building (over the road from Peckham Rye station). For your buck you’ll also get a pair of personal headphones and a blanket – not to mention some fantastic views.

What is it?
Insomniacs assemble! It’s all eight Harry Potter films, screened back-to-back, at the iconic Prince Charles Cinema in Leicester Square. Yes: that’s almost 20 hours of Daniel Radcliffe’s rapidly changing hairstyles.
