“He was born to dance – he just doesn't know it yet…”
The Time: Friday 12th April at 20:45
The Place: Regent Street Cinema
Here at Walloh we’ve partnered with the 2019 London Spanish Film Festival to give two lucky movie-goers the chance to see Yuli: The Carlos Acosta Story on the big screen.
Based on the uplifting true story, the film chronicles the rise of Cuban dancer Carlos Acosta from a young boy who preferred football into one of the world’s most famous ballet dancers - and even features Acosta in a starring role, playing himself! Directed by Icíar Bollaín (Take My Eyes, Even the Rain), with a script from Paul Laverty (I, Daniel Blake), Yuli: The Carlos Acosta Story is a truly inspiring film about the power of dance and the importance of remembering your roots.
