When? 19:30, Wednesday 22nd May   How much? From £20  Where? Camden

Iconic 80s cult classic, The Lost Boys, screened in a Camden Absinthe Bunker. According to the website, the viewing will be “heightened with the consumption of absinthe.” We'll take their word for it.

Sounds interesting! What else?

The screening comes with an introduction, pizza, a glass of absinthe, and an absinthe guide. And you thought The Lost Boys was trippy enough already… Click here for tickets and more info.

Welcome Cinema + Kitchen Present: Soufra

What is it?

A monthly supper club and film screening event for a very good cause, which unites Londoners of different backgrounds through “Film, Food & Friendship.” This month's film is Soufra, an empowering documentary about entrepreneur Mariam Shaar.

Sounds interesting! What else?

When you purchase a ticket for this event, a refugee or asylum seeker attends the event for free. There will be food served from around the world, plus a brilliant Q&A with some acclaimed chefs. In other words: what are you waiting for? Click here for tickets and more info.

Bohemian Rhapsody at Wimbledon Park

When? 20:00, Friday 21st June  How much? From £15.50  Where? Wimbledon

What is it?

Bohemian Rhapsody, the Oscar-winning film about Queen's Freddie Mercury, shown on a massive screen, at night, at the very beautiful Wimbledon Park. If you like a good lake, this one's for you.

Sounds interesting! What else?

Hosted by the “The Luna Cinema,” you'll enjoy the film under the stars. Arrive early to take part in a load of summer activities, from beach volley ball to water sports. Food and alcohol will be served, obviously, because this is London, and because it's Friday. Click here for tickets and more info.

Death Becomes Her: Drag Show Bitch-Along

When? 18:20, Friday 21st June  How much? From £10.20  Where? Southbank

What is it?

Camp classic Death Becomes Her, starring Meryl Streep and Goldie Hawn, showing at the BFI Southbank. This screening comes with a twist, though, in that it will be hosted by celebrated cabaret star Baby Lame, plus an award-winning drag queen.

Sounds interesting! What else?

What is a “Bitch-Along,” you're wondering? Unlike with most screenings at the BFI, you're actively encouraged to make lots of noise here. Sass is practically a requirement. Talk about unwinding on a Friday night in London, huh? Click here for tickets and more info.

David Fincher's film adaptation of Gone Girl, based on the acclaimed book by Gillian Flynn. Somewhat terrifyingly, said “Girl” – otherwise known as actor Rosamund Pike – will be in attendance for a Q&A.

Sounds interesting! What else?

Pike was the best thing about this movie, of course. Now's your chance to ask her how many takes David Fincher made her do for every scene. Click here for tickets and more info.
