Botanist Ivan arrives on the picturesque island of Levanzo off the coast of Sicily for the wedding of his brother Richard. Ivan arrives a week early to spearhead preparations with the bride's best friend, Chiara, who has a long-term partner and teenage daughter. Sexual tension smolders between the two wedding planners and bohemian spirit Ivan makes a bold proposal: he and Chiara should embark on a wild and passionate affair for the next seven days and end their dalliance the night before the wedding.
