A bravura and eye-opening documentary, which delves into America's imbalanced law and order system by considering the high numbers of young black men, who are being incarcerated and denied any shot at a future. Drawing on archive news footage as well as interviews with key political players and social commentators, the film traces the exploding US prison population from the presidency of Richard Nixon to the present day via the failings of Ronald Reagan and Bill Clinton's administrations.
