Sanctuary

Larry is madly in love with Sophie and they would dearly like to consummate their relationship but since they are both intellectually challenged, Section 5 of the Criminal Law (Sexual Offences) Act, 1993 in Irish law prevents them from having sex without first getting married. Larry persuades sympathetic care worker Tom to use his savings to book a hotel room during a group outing to Galway. While the rest of the gang are watching a film at a cinema, Tom chaperones Larry and Sophie to the hotel.
