Soldier Sajjan Singh bids farewell to his sweetheart Jeeti to serve in the Lahore Regiment of the British Indian Army commanded by Zorawar Singh during the First World War. Operating in the face of discrimination and alienation, Sajjan and fellow Indian soldiers risk their lives for their colonisers to fight the German forces and restore a fragile peace to the world.
