Undertow (Contracorriente)
In a staunchly Catholic, Peruvian village, fisherman Miguel is a natural leader, commanding respect from his neighbours. He has a beautiful and heavily pregnant wife, Mariela, who is carrying their first child but unbeknownst to all of his friends, Miguel is embroiled in a secret affair with handsome painter Santiago. Unfortunately, the fisherman cannot commit himself to his lover and expose himself to the prejudices of the locals.
