Argo
In 1979, militants storm the US Embassy in Tehran and hold 52 Americans hostage. Six members of staff escape to the nearby residence of the Canadian ambassador and hide in a basement crawl space. CIA extractor Tony Mendez concocts an elaborate scheme to rescue the sextet from the danger zone: he will pose as a film producer who has come to Iran to scout for locations for a sci-fi epic called Argo.
