Crowhurst
Amateur sailor Donald Crowhurst is struggling to provide for his wife Clare and children by selling his nautical invention. He is intrigued by the announcement of the 1968 Golden Globe Race supported by the Sunday Times, which is promising a £5000 first prize to the sailor who can circumnavigate the globe single-handedly in the quickest time. Donald dreams of glory and he risks his house and business to build a state-of-the-art triple-hulled yacht called the Teignmouth Electron.
