The Loneliness Of The Long Distance Runner
Young tearaway Colin Smith is sentenced to Ruxton Towers Reformatory for the attempted robbery of a bakery. Under the watchful eye of the governor, Colin gains respect from his fellow inmates through his achievements as a long distance runner. As he races around each track, Colin looks back on his eventful life, mulling over key events which have led him to his prison cell.
