In the early 20th century on Reunion Island, teenage boys Hubert, Jean-Louis, Romuald, Sloane and Tanguy commit a heinous crime. They are sentenced to serve a violent captain, whose ship becomes their prison. Eventually, the young convicts arrive at a wondrous island festooned with lush vegetation. In this fallen paradise, Hubert, Jean-Louis, Romuald, Sloane and Tanguy confront their guilt and encounter beautiful islander Dr Severine.
