Les Combattants
Arnaud lives in a French coastal town where he is expected to inherit his family's carpentry business. By chance, he meets a spunky free spirit called Madeleine, who is obsessed with survival training because she believes the end of the world is nigh. Madeleine asks Arnaud to drive her to a neighbouring town so she can sign up for a summer army training camp. The young man impulsively decides to enlist with her in order to spend more time with Madeleine.
