On the streets of Los Angeles, the lives of a cross-section of the multi-ethnic populace, intersect without warning. Officers Ryan and Hansen pull over an African-American couple, film director Cameron and his wife Christine. Meanwhile, District Attorney Rick Cabot and his wife Jean are the unsuspecting victims of car-jackers Peter and Anthony. Within 36 hours, one of the men will be dead by the roadside.
