The Deer Hunter
Russian-American steelworkers Nick Chevotarevich, Steven Pushkov and Mike Vronsky live in the small town of Clairton in Pennsylvania. Before the trio heads off to war in Vietnam, Steven marries his girlfriend Angela, who is pregnant by another man. At the wedding, Nick asks his girlfriend Linda to marry him, unaware that Mike is secretly in love with her too. The friends do their duty and return home broken men.
