Starlight (L'Etoile Du Jour)
Stranded on the dunes ashore the North Sea, a small circus company suffers from a serious lack of audience, but the magic, it seems, still operates. This fragile equilibrium comes tumbling down when an uncanny conscience (Iggy Pop) plays tricks between Angele (Natacha Régnier), the diaphanous ballerina, the clown Elliot (Denis Lavant), the gypsy Zohra (Béatrice Dalle) and Heroy (Tchéky Karyo), the disturbed and bossy ringmaster.
