Bad Hair (Pelo Malo)

Single mother Marta has just lost her job as a security guard and she is struggling to pay the bills and keep a roof over the head of her son Junior and his baby brother. Exhausted and emotional, Marta has little time to indulge Junior's fantasies of becoming a pop star and when the lad tells her that he wants to straighten his afro hair, she resolutely refuses. So Junior turns to his caring paternal grandmother Carmen, who indulges his whims.
