Habit

Michael is haunted by the death of his mother, which he witnessed as a young boy. Emotionally withdrawn and socially awkward, he is content to ricochet between collecting benefits and drinking them away at the local pub. One morning, he encounters Lee, who introduces Michael to her uncle Ian, manager of a seedy massage parlour called Cloud 9. Michael befriends some of the working girls but his world spirals out of control when he witnesses a brutal crime.
