Joy and Sorrow of the Body
After being arrested and imprisoned for counterfeiting, Evagoras spends five years in jail. When he is released, he travels to Bulgaria to meet his friend and collaborator, Milen, who has been forced into hiding. While in Bulgaria, he meets Dita, an occasional prostitute, and falls in love. Unbeknowst to Evagoras, he has been followed by John, an Interpol agent who has been tracking Milen.
