In The Realm Of The Senses (Ai No Corrida)
Another re-issue of Nagisa Oshima's notorious 1976 examination of sexual obsession, which fell foul of the censors' scissors due to its highly explicit content. Set in pre-war Japan, the film traces the affair of a man, Kichi, and a prostitute, Sada, whose desire becomes so strong for one another that everything else in their lives is rendered meaningless.
