Five years after she married her sweetheart Sky, Sophie Sheridan is thrilled to tell friends that she is expecting her first child. But impending motherhood without her mother Donna's guiding hand causes Sophie to worry that she won't be able to cope. Donna's best friends Tanya and Rosie encourage Sophie to look to the past for inspiration. The mother-to-be learns about the first time Donna visited the island with pals Tanya and Rosie as singing group The Dynamos.
