Escobar

Journalist and TV presenter Virginia Vallejo encounters notorious Colombian drug lord Pablo Escobar at one of his famed parties and she instantly falls under his spell. At first, he attempts to intimidate and bully her but Virginia's infatuation doesn't waver and she eventually becomes his lover as he rises to power, using some of his ill-gotten gains to support the poorest members of Colombian society. When Escobar's empire inevitably crumbles, Virginia seeks the protection of the DEA.
