A man revisits how the death of his mother affected his life
Turin, 1969. Massimo, a young boy of nine, loses his mother in mysterious circumstances. A few days later, his father takes him to a priest, who explains that she is now in heaven, acting as his guardian angel. Massimo struggles to accept this. Years later, in 1990, Massimo has become an accomplished journalist. But he is haunted by his past and the death of his mother in particular.
