Param falls giddily in love with Jasmeet and the couple marries surrounded by friends and family in the Punjab. Fissures appear in the relationship and Jasmeet leaves behind the home comforts of India for the bright lights of England, where she intends to pursue her dreams. A crestfallen Param cannot bear to be separated from the woman of his dreams and he follows her to London to win her back.
