Free Men (Les Hommes Libres)

While the Nazis take control of Paris, Algerian immigrant Younes is among the black marketeers, who take advantage of a horrific situation. The French police recruit him to act as a spy and gather evidence against Si Kaddour Ben Ghabrit, head of the city mosque, whom they suspect of harbouring Jews. Younes agrees but his viewpoint slowly changes when he befriends Arab singer Salim and Jewish orphan Sarah.
