A mobster becomes enlightened when he falls for a woman and decides to change his ways
Pericle (Riccardo Scamarcio), a mob enforcer living among a tight-knit group of Neapolitans in Belgium, runs afoul of his boss and is forced to flee to France. There he meets a woman who causes him to take stock of the terrible life he has been leading, but when his past threatens his new life he must return to Belgium and face his enemies. Stefano Mordini directed this crime drama adapted from Giuseppe Ferrandino's 1993 novel, Pericle il Nero.
