Kabir accepts a position as a teacher in a remote school and he discovers a diary left by the previous tutor, Firdous. Reading her heartfelt words, Kabir nurtures an affection for this mysterious woman and he leaves tender comments in her journal. When the roles are reversed and Firdous returns to the school and her pupils, she is deeply touched to read Kabir's kind words. A relationship of mutual appreciation develops between the two teachers, who have never met in person.
