Shot more than 40 years ago but not screened until now, Leon Blank's music documentary is a vibrant portrait of pianist and singer Leon Russell at the height of his popularity and fame. The film is granted intimate access to the star, witnessing him build a home recording studio in his beloved Oklahoma and recording his album Hank Wilson's Back. Concert footage, captured in front of throngs of adoring fans, is juxtaposed with rare behind the scenes material.
