Shinda and Taaro are married without the groom seeing the bride's face. She retires to her village where she must remain at her parents' house for up to one year before meeting Shinda again. It is forbidden for the groom to enter the bride's village but Shinda is determined to see Taaro and begin their love story. He challenges societal norms and risks the wrath of his elders.
