Bluebeard
Two little girls read Charles Perrault's classic fairytale, terrified of what might happen to the female protagonist. In their mind's eye, Bluebeard marries the beautiful Marie-Catherine and gives her the keys to his castle, leaving explicit instructions that she may go wherever she pleases except to unlock one particular door. Alas, the new wife defies her master's orders and unlocks the door, discovering the rotting corpses of his previous wives.
