Beleaguered restaurant owner Rafael is preparing to sell the Italian restaurant founded by his immigrant father Nino when he is suddenly struck down by a heart attack. Forced to re-evaluate his life, Rafael considers his relationship with his girlfriend Nati and his continual run-ins with ex-wife Sandra and daughter Vicky. He also helps his father organise a dream church wedding for his mother Norma, who is slowly succumbing to Alzheimer's.
