The Arbor
In 1980, 15-year-old Bradford schoolgirl Andrea Dunbar was the talk of the London theatre scene when her first play, The Arbor, was staged at the Royal Court. She died at the age of 29 leaving behind 10-year-old eldest daughter, Lorraine, who would go off the rails and end up serving time for manslaughter. This documentary dissects the lives of these remarkable women using interviews with Lorraine and the family, which are then lip-synced by actors.
