Brave soldier Karam Singh falls under the spell of Chann Kaur and facilitates a love match using middleman Mehga Singh. The girl's father is open to a marriage with one condition: the groom must not be in the army. Chann Kaur pleads with Karam to comply for the sake of their relationship. The soldier has never surrendered on the battlefield and he doesn't want to start in his pursuit of happiness.
