Videodrome
Cable television operator Max Renn is bored with the material on his channel and is hungry for salacious new ideas to attract viewers. He stumbles upon an experimental television programme called Videodrome, a snuff show on which real people are killed, raped and maimed in front of the cameras. Thrilled by the potential of this sick reality TV, Max sees Videodrome first-hand, but he begins experiencing disturbing and twisted hallucinations which propel him to the brink of insanity.
