Hormonally charged teenager, Bliss Cavendar, lives in sleepy Bodeen, Texas, where she is at the mercy of her beauty pageant obsessed mom. She secretly attends a try out for the local roller derby team, the Hurl Scouts. Maggie Mayhem and Smashley Simpson take Bliss under their wing and with their encouragement, the plucky teen discovers her calling on four wheels.
