Boys Don't Cry
True story of Brandon Teena, a well liked 21-year-old who was gunned down in a Nebraska homestead by two acquaintances in 1993. The post-mortem revealed that Brandon was in fact a girl, called Teena Brandon, who has been masquerading as the fictitious Brandon for several months, and had endeared herself to many of the young women in the local community. Not least her loyal girlfriend Lana Tisdel, who had stood by her man at every turn.
