Fresh-faced young policewoman Kaja Miller is kidnapped and raped during a bungled operation. She manages to escape from her captors and kills them but omits these crucial details from her official report. Eight years later, her former boss Nowicki reestablishes contact. He is now a high-ranking officer in the Central Bureau of Investigation in Gdynia and needs Kaja to join him for a highly sensitive case involving influential figures in the corridors of power.
