Lourdes

Christine suffers from multiple sclerosis and must use a wheelchair to navigate her path through life, aided by carer Maria. Together they embark on a pilgrimage to Lourdes, where thousands flock every year to bathe in or drink from the waters in the grotto, which are rumoured to have healing properties. Surrounded by many other people who also believe in the power of the waters, Christine seeks spiritual enlightenment.
