A Year Without Love (Un Ano Sin Amor)
Gay, HIV-positive poet Pablo hopes to find true love before he dies, or failing that, someone handsome to share his bed for the night. The personals yield only a few possibilities, but his prospects look up when he stumbles upon a coterie of sadomasochists, who gets their kicks with leather, whips and chains. Guided through this hidden world by a man called Sheriff, Pablo discovers a fetish for pain, duly inflicted by a sexy dungeon master. As Pablo succumbs to his darkest desires, he also realises that it is easy to confuse love and lust.
