Between rare archival footage, photographs and eye-witness accounts, the film is a charming chronicle of the journeys of George, John, Paul and Ringo from their high octane celebrity lives in the West to a remote Himalayan ashram in search of spirituality.

What others think
If there isn’t much really new here, it’s still salutary to be reminded of how these four young men used their colossal influence, greater than any politician or movie star or religious leader, to direct the world’s attention to India.
As various talking-heads experts and musicians testify over the course of the film, the Fab Four changed India as much as it changed them, and more than half a century on from their highly-publicised trip their influence can still be felt here, there and everywhere.
