Sami, a middle class Palestinian working as a telecom executive, visits the Arab village where he grew up, for his younger brother’s wedding. As he starts his journey back to Jerusalem with his wife and child, he discovers the villagers have been placed under military siege. When the power goes out, too, Sami is left to ponder his life choices and whether his sense of security as an Israeli citizen has been nothing but an illusion.
