The Black Book
Drafted while the Second World War was still raging, the Black Book contained numerous testimonies of the atrocities committed by the Nazis against Jews in the Soviet Union. The publication of the book, which was used by the prosecution during the Nuremberg Trials, was supported at first by the Soviet authorities, but was ultimately banned by Stalin who also ordered the execution of most of its authors.
