Jungle

Yossi Ghinsberg harks from a middle-class Israeli family, who expect him to attend college and secure a well-paid profession. Instead, he heads to Bolivia in 1981 on a globe-trotting expedition of self-discovery alongside many other 20-something backpackers. En route, Yossi befriends Swiss teacher Marcus Stamm and American photographer Kevin Gale. The trio meet a mysterious Austrian adventurer called Karl Ruprechter, who claims that he can take them through uncharted jungle to Incan ruins.
