In the late 1980s, Pat Tate is a ruthless Essex gangster, who crushes anyone standing in his way. He is a pill-popping, coke-snorting demon, who blazes a trail from Marbella to the Medway, with an insatiable thirst for power. When an ex-pat drug baron betrays Pat and he ends up behind bars, the bruiser establishes a new empire inside the prison where he can formulate a plan of revenge against those who have wronged him.
