The film traces the journey of a boy who was saved by an Indian Police Officer at the time of partition. It is inspired by true events and depicts the time when humanity was divided into segments by religion, people were separated from their loved ones and killed ruthlessly. Among all this chaos and brutality an infant was saved and taken care of by a Sikh couple. The couple soon develops an eternal bond with the child and never reveals that he is not their biological son.
