The Illusionist
Old-fashioned magician Monsieur Tatischeff struggles to make a living in the music halls of 1959 Paris. So he heads to London and then ventures much further north to a windswept Scottish island, where he is welcomed with open arms. A young girl called Alice, his most ardent fan, joins the magician on his odyssey as he continues on to Edinburgh. In the capital, Monsieur Tatischeff struggles to conjure up the rent for an apartment he shares with Alice.
