The Shining
Jack Torrance, a frustrated writer, accepts a caretaker job at the Overlook Hotel, where he and his family - including son, Danny, prone to psychic visions, and Wendy, his timid wife - will live in isolation for the winter. Soon, they are plagued by ghosts and strange happenings, and Jack - losing his grip on reality - is driven to kill his family.
