Four stories of love and longing in England, Greece and Iran. Leila is hiding from her Afghan family in Tehran, awaiting safe passage to London. Eight-year-old Iranian boy Parsa faces a similarly nervous ordeal. Locked inside a flat in Greece, he is at the mercy of bullying traffickers. Polish hairdresser Laura is already in London with her teenage daughter Alexia, working hard to support her family. Meanwhile, interpreter Ramzi represents fellow Arabs in a London court.
